What are Underground Utility Surveys?
An underground utility mapping is the process of using geophysical techniques to create a digital representation of the underground utilities that are buried beneath the surface.
Through the use of the latest technology, including Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), the survey creates a highly detailed profile of the ground below the surface. Using Radio Detection and (GPR), we can detect most underground utility services, including Drainage, Gas, Power, Water, Telecommunications, Fibre Optics.
An accurate assessment of underground services is an important stage in the development of a site to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, minimise project planning time and minimise risks associated with the development of the site.
